Program Overview
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a structured program designed for experienced professionals aiming to advance their impact on organizational practice and policy. Phase 1 focuses on coursework delivered through intensive, online classroom sessions with assessment based on written assignments and research proposals. Upon successful completion of this phase, scholars are awarded the Master of Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School in Zurich, recognizing their foundational expertise in applied research and strategic management.
Phase 2 centers on independent, supervised research leading to a dissertation of publishable quality. This stage allows candidates to specialize within a broad management framework, applying research to areas such as leadership, change, and operational improvement. The final doctorate is conferred by SBS Swiss Business School’s Malta campus, marking the culmination of a rigorous, practice-oriented journey that blends academic inquiry with real-world relevance.
